Tasks

-Leading the development and improvement of our Carbon Management System in line with PAS 2080. -Collaborating with internal teams and supply chain partners to embed low-carbon thinking into everyday practices. -Translating complex carbon strategies into clear, engaging messages for diverse audiences. -Supporting sustainability reporting and sharing success stories across the project. -Help shape the sustainability culture of a nationally significant project. -Designing and delivering carbon awareness campaigns and training programmes.

What You Bring

-Experience working with major infrastructure projects (e.g., HS2, National Highways, National Grid, or consultancies such as Atkins, Mott MacDonald, etc.). -Be based in London, Manchester or Suffolk, with flexible working options (typically 2 days/week in the office). -A degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Communications, Education, or a related field is desirable but not essential if you hold relevant experience. -Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills. -3–5 years’ experience in a similar carbon/sustainability role.
