Tasks

-Guide the implementation of cloud-based data platforms, data lakes, and enterprise data warehouses. -Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities for team members. -Build and lead a high-performing team of data engineers and AI/ML resources. -Partner with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and success criteria. -Collaborate with architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders to enable data-driven decision-making. -Develop work plans, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of milestones and objectives. -Evaluate team performance and establish performance goals, conducting regular performance reviews. -Ensure secure and compliant data access and usage across the organization. -Collaborate with solution architects to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability of data platforms. -Lead the development of scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support enterprise-wide analytics and AI/ML use cases. -Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes innovation and excellence.

What You Bring

-5+ years of experience in data engineering with a solid understanding of cloud platforms, data lake architecture, and enterprise data warehousing -7+ years of related experience; 3–5 in a leadership or team lead capacity -Proven experience in systems development and project management -Strong ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment -Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable -Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders -Experience managing a remote team, including both onshore and offshore resources -Experience with data integration tools and technologies, including API integration, Alteryx, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), or Azure Data Factory -Preferred experience with Power BI, including semantic model design, DAX optimization, and enabling self-service analytics for end users. -Preferred experience with Microsoft Fabric or comparable cloud data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake.” -Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older -Strong collaboration skills with experience in developing and implementing governance processes that enable other teams while gaining buy-in and ensuring compliance -Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive data-driven decision-making -Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field -Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide data engineers -Familiarity with data security, data privacy regulations, and compliance standards
