Overview

Conduct immunology experiments to assess AAV antibody titers for neuromuscular research.

Tasks

-Process data into meaningful representations. -Contribute to lab operational activities. -Maintain primary cells and cell lines. -Collaborate effectively as part of a dynamic team within Research Operations and across different departments in Research & Early Development. -Perform colorimetric enzyme activity assays. -Learn and perform assigned procedures and experiments. -Conduct standard sandwich and electro-chemiluminescent enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISAs). -Use serological pipettes and micro-pipettes. -Conduct capillary electrophoresis. -Operate within an aseptic/sterile laboratory environment.

What You Bring

-Good academic track record. -Experience with sterile cell culture and micropipetting. -Communicate information and results effectively in formats such as lab notebooks, presentations, and technical reports. -Basic foundational understanding of immunology. -Hold a BS in biology, chemistry, or a relevant science engineering field. -Up to 2 years of post-baccalaureate research experience. -A reliable, thorough, accountable, and careful approach. -Understand the experimental process and objectives to recognize atypical results and troubleshoot. -Willingness to work with animal tissues and mammalian cells. -Proficiency in data analysis. -Ability to perform ELISA, aseptic processing, sterile processing, pipetting, and capillary electrophoresis.
