Overview

Design and manage manufacturing & logistics facilities, lead projects, and mentor staff.

Tasks

-Determine applicable building/zoning codes & implement into the design -Assist with processing and reviewing RFI’s, shop drawings, submittals, and samples expeditiously -Assist with the development of conceptual, schematic, and presentation materials for manufacturing and logistics building types -Maintain quality control by utilizing established company tools and standards -Lead and mentor junior designers -Participate in interviews, proposals and presentations; communicate with clients & consultants throughout all phases of the project

Baskervill is looking for an experienced Architect or Project Designer to join our growing Manufacturing and Logistics team. In this studio, you will be working on everything from advanced manufacturing facilities to technology-rich projects. The ideal candidate will coordinate the in-house production teams in close collaboration with the project architect and/or studio director. Sound interesting? Let’s talk. -Manufacturing, industrial and/or warehouse experience required -Excellent communication and collaboration skills to thrive in a team environment -5-10 years of professional architecture experience -The willingness to occasionally travel, as there may be limited travel required -Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and the full Microsoft Office suite -Bachelor or Master of Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program -Experience in personnel supervision and fostering professional development in others
