Tasks
The post holder will be responsible for supporting the Group’s UK corporate tax compliance and reporting, and to a lesser degree the wider regional tax function. In addition, the individual will be asked to perform technical research, project support and corporate tax planning. The role offers exposure to KBR’s global tax and finance teams. -Interacting with internal colleagues in financial accounting, legal and other global tax team members on a regular basis. -Preparing UK corporation tax returns for the UK Corporate Tax Manager’s review. -Support peers on a variety of tax advisory and project work. -Support the review of tax systems, policies and processes, including consideration of SOX requirements, SAO etc. -Own the meeting of withholding tax compliance obligations and related double tax treaty applications. -Support the tax reporting and compliance processes for European jurisdictions. -Be responsible for the running of the tax provision work for the UK group. -Responsible for maintaining cash tax forecast reporting for the region. -Manage tax project activity as appropriate. -Support the UK Group’s R&D tax credit process;

What You Bring
The position is based in KBR’s Leatherhead Campus but with flexible working patterns.. CTA, ACA qualified or equivalent. KBR's Tax Team is seeking a Corporate Tax Specialist within its UK, European and African tax function. Reporting into the Regional Senior Tax Manager, based in Leatherhead, the individual will also interact directly with the Group Tax function, based in Houston. -Experience of Corporate Tax Compliance and the Thomson Reuters Onesource software platforms. -Experience using MS Dynamics and the MS Power applications. -Able to discuss tax technical matters in plain language. -A relevant number of years' experience working in corporate tax required. -Inquisitive and analytical approach. -Familiarity with Tax Accounting concepts. -Well organised and able to manage own time effectively. -Tax reporting experience, ideally including US GAAP tax reporting experience. -Experience in interrogating a General Ledger system. -Ability to work independently in a fast-paced global environment.
