The Role
Overview
Test, maintain, calibrate gas measurement equipment and ensure regulatory compliance.

Tasks
-Coordinates with the customers Measurement Department and Production Department as required and provides support for gas volume discrepancies. Assists in volume recover by providing information -Collect gas samples in compliance with partnership safety and industry guidelines -Assists with new meter installations, preventative maintenance, and field solutions for measurement related problems in compliance with applicable specifications, codes, safety standards and operating procedures -Participate in partnership safety program and initiatives -Occasional overnight travel may be required -Perform periodic accuracy tests including the calibration, inspection and maintenance of all equipment related to quality and quantity determination. Adheres to company standards of documentation -Performs plate changes and general upkeep of the end devices -This position tests & maintains gas meters, regulators and relief valves, RTU & SCADA equipment and related communication equipment, valves and valve operators and gas filters in a manner to meet the customer’s operational needs while ensuring compliance with partnership and regulatory requirements

What You Bring
-Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions -Basic knowledge of the oil and gas industry -High school diploma or GED -Basic Configuration, Calibration & Testing of the following EFM’s: -Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting -Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment -Knowledge of applicable EPA, DOT, RRC, OSHA, NEC, AGA, API and GPA requirements and procedures -Work independently with minimal supervision -ROC: 1 year -Basic knowledge of the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of various types of measurement equipment -Excellent communication skills to interface with customer base -Driving, walking, standing frequently -Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and MVR/background check -Total Flow: 1 year -Basic Computer Skills (Word, Excel, Email, etc.) -Lifting to 50 lbs. occasionally
