Tasks

-Conduct accident investigations and implement safety improvements. -Oversee dispatching and delivery schedules through Route Planner and Freight Administrator (if applicable). -Monitor and manage fleet performance using key metrics (e.g., payload efficiency, OTIFNE, MPG). -Collaborate with manufacturing, sales, and supply chain teams to meet customer delivery expectations. -Partner with maintenance providers to minimize equipment downtime and ensure preventative maintenance. -Hire, engage, and retain drivers while providing performance feedback and development. -Foster a culture of safety by providing training, PPE, and accountability measures.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of FMCSA and State DOT regulations. -Flexibility to work 40+ hours per week and weeknights/weekends as required. -Strong leadership and team-building skills. -College degree required or equivalent experience with a high school diploma. -Proficient in business systems, Power BI, and Microsoft Office Suite. -Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. -High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. -Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities. -Minimum 2 years of experience in Transportation or Freight Management with supervisory responsibilities. -Experience with dispatching and load prioritization.
