Tasks

-Follow all GSI Safety regulations -Lead the development of your assigned Capstone Project and present results to company leadership. -Perform various manual labor assignments as directed by the Site Superintendent -Assist Field Engineers with geotechnical testing, writing geotechnical reports, various project management duties such as ordering materials and equipment for the project you are assigned to, and any other duties needed to make the project a success -Take direction from an engineering manager to prepare technical documents for small scale civil engineering projects (retaining walls)

What You Bring

-GPA of at least 3.0 (preferred 3.5+). -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with evidence of leadership potential. -Grit, resilience, and curiosity—willingness to tackle complex problems in dynamic field conditions. -Adaptability and the ability to learn quickly under pressure. -Current student pursuing a degree in Civil, Structural, Geological, Geotechnical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (related fields welcome). -Strong preference for students within 12 months of graduation (undergraduate or graduate) as of Summer 2026. -Exposure to GSI’s fast-paced, mission-driven culture, built on innovation, extreme ownership, and teamwork.
