Entry Level Plumbing Designer – Multiple Sectors

Overview

Design and assist plumbing systems for diverse building projects

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Participates in client, company and/or industry events to build and maintain professional relationships. -Prepares or modifies reports, plans, and designs for projects. -Occasionally visits job sites to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress. -Performs calculations and design basic engineering systems in collaboration with experienced design staff. -Supports business development or pursuit activities. -Prepares system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics. -Review shop drawings for conformance to plans and specifications.

What You Bring

-Basic proficiency in engineering design: basic knowledge of the A&E industry, codes, design guides and standards. -Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam preferred. -Bachelor's degree in relevant field of engineering (i.e.: mechanical, electrical, fire protection or architectural) and one year of experience, or 3 years of experience without degree required. -Maintains knowledge of common industry software, including Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office products. -Proficiency with Revit and Bluebeam Revu software preferred. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
