Software Engineer - Frontend

Develop React UI for defense systems, collaborating with design and backend teams.

Tasks

-Integrate novel front-end technologies into our stack. -Take ownership of significant new features, including planning with technical requirements, design wireframes, and software design diagrams. -Work with backend teams to improve API designs. -Provide insights into architectural decision-making, including framework trade-offs, state-management solutions, and API and business layer patterns. -Collaborate effectively with UX/UI designers to ensure seamless translation of design concepts into functional interfaces. -Promote readability and clean coding patterns within the codebase. -Mentor and collaborate with team members.

What You Bring

-Experience working with a design/development pipeline. -5+ years of professional front-end/UI development experience with JavaScript and TypeScript. -Proficiency in CSS, SASS, and experience with Bootstrap, Tailwind, and Material-UI. -At least 1+ years of experience with web-based 3D rendering, data visualization, or mapping libraries. -Experience with testing frameworks for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing. -Mastery in building UI applications with React. -Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. -Optimize performance, developer experience, CI/CD, and testing. -Experience with wireframing/design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch. -Competence in front-end build tools, bundling, and transpilation. -Experience with Agile/Scrum development. -Experience optimizing performance for real-time React applications.
