Leads and manages all accounting functions, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and internal controls.

Tasks

-Manage treasury function including receivables, disbursements, bank reconciliation, and cash flow -Implement and optimize accounting systems and processes to support scalability. -Oversee all external audits and coordinate with independent auditors. -Lead and manage all day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets. -Maintain compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and other accounting standards. -Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity. -Lead preparation of financial statements, management reports, and audit documentation. -Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes. -Stay current on accounting regulations and best practices, recommending changes as needed. -Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and other regulatory reports. -Partner with the CFO and senior leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts.

What You Bring

-Deep knowledge of GAAP and internal control frameworks. -Ability to meet firm deadlines. -10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. -Must have stamina to work more than the scheduled workday when needed, including nights and weekends. -Exceptional pc skills, including Advanced MS Excel. -Ability to work independently. -Bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required. -Proficiency in accounting software -Excellent teaming and communication skills. -Travel required: Less than 20% -Must submit to and pass a level 2 background screening -Required to stand/walk/sit regularly and occasionally for prolonged periods of time -Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills. -Must submit to and pass a drug test pursuant to Company Drug-Free Workplace Policy which includes random testing. -Experience with audit, tax, compliance, and reporting. -Ability to prioritize, manage and complete multiple tasks.
