Ensure policies and procedures are accurately documented and maintained
Coordinate with internal and external partners to resolve defects, maintaining compliance with post-funding exception management timelines
Review and evaluate data tapes to resolve data exceptions and address research inquiries
Retrieve, reconcile, and analyze data and documents to facilitate due diligence associated with financing, loan sale, funding, agency repooling, or securitizations
Contribute to identifying automation opportunities and process improvements
Prepares and distributes reporting as necessary
Develop knowledge of compliance requirements, agency guidelines, financial structures, and custodial agreements
Manage deal oversight, ensuring timely and accurate execution
Identify financing opportunities in accordance with warehouse lender deal parameters and portfolio best execution
Develop an in-depth understanding of Lakeview’s early buyout program, including but not limited to buyout strategy, warehouse financing, agency redelivery and pooling, whole loan transactions, and structured financial products

Additional work experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirement
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of financing transactions and servicing data
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external partners
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize competing tasks
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field
Comfortable working with large data sets; experience analyzing and reconciling deal-level data
Familiarity with SQL, CAS, Microsoft Access, or any other programming language is a plus
Effective communication with the ability to lead initiatives and projects externally and upwards to management
2-5 years of relevant experience in any of the following areas: operations (warehouse, investor reporting, treasury), fund accounting, finance, closing, post-closing, mortgage servicing, or secondary marketing
