The Role
Overview
Handle receiving, storing, picking, and issuing stock in warehouse.
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Receiving and unloading of stock from suppliers, couriers, and engineers -Answer incoming calls promptly, and in a polite and courteous manner. -Ensure the filing of all documents relating to goods receipt and despatch, are kept up to date. -Notify the Materials Supervisor of any stock and process related issues. -Pass all completed despatch notes to the Materials Supervisor for booking. -The moving and storage of all stock in and out of the warehouse, in a safe and tidy manner -Picking and issuing of stock as detailed on all despatch notes, to field staff, depots, and customers. -Undertake appropriate training in line with the addition of new equipment and systems. -Assist in carrying out continuous stock checks. -Liaise daily with the various teams based at the Leicester site to ensure all operational needs are met

What You Bring
-Knowledge of SAP desirable but not essential but you must be computer literate. -Able to work unsupervised and remain calm and prioritise work when busy. -Good communication skills -Ability to manage the receipt and despatch of goods -Previous stores and/or Logistics experience -Confident working with numerical and written data and information -Forklift License would be beneficial but not esential.
