Tasks

-Administer & maintain medical records on cascade including pre-employment, periodic health surveillance & medication checks -Manage and respond to day-to-day queries in the people & payroll inbox -Maintaining HR system data to ensure accuracy as data feeds into dashboards for period reporting -Managing the full onboarding process for new starters within SLA and payroll deadline. This includes right to work in the UK documentation is accurate, issuing the offer via DocuSign and undertaking all onboarding activities to ensure the onboarding process is managed in an efficient manner -Support process improvement projects -Provide first line HR advice and guidance on queries and escalate if required to the People Manager or People Business Partners -Assist with recruitment - advertising, shortlisting, scheduling interviews and assessment days -Managing the offboarding process for all leavers working within monthly payroll deadline -Creating new starter and maintaining employee electronic records inline with GDPR -Support running monthly / period HR statistics reporting to provide analysis to the HR team on wider business areas – sickness, absence, leavers -Complete all People Services administration activities in relation to contracts of employment including appointments, termination and variation of contractual terms, rewards and retirement

What You Bring

-Knowledge of GDPR principles -Excellent communication skills -CIPD or working towards the qualification (desirable) -Knowledge of payroll (desirable) -Proof of address. -Excellent attention to detail -Know your audience, delivering excellent customer service -Evidence of right to work in the UK. -Criminal Records self-declaration check, in line with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) -Previous experience in an HR or Payroll administrator role -References from previous employment or studies from the last 3 years -Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite such as Outlook, Word and Excel -Flexible approach and able to adapt to meet the needs of the business
