The Role

Overview

Mobile Electrical Engineer handling remote planned/reactive maintenance across Scotland.

Tasks

-Supporting contract teams with meeting SLAs by attending client premises within the desired timeframe -Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with Thermatic’s PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and task schedules as directed by the Help Desk and/or management team -Supporting the training and upskilling of junior service engineers -Producing technical and situational reports as required -Supporting Thermatic with maintaining positive client relationships through on-site interactions with representative and customers of our clients -Providing accurate timesheet information to designated timeframes -Attending team meetings or briefings as required -Participating in a 24 hour call out rota -Supporting team members including acting as second-man where required -Undertaking all aspects of electrical installation, commission, fault finding, and maintenance -Carrying out basic facilities maintenance tasks as required -Assisting office-based staff with producing quotations by providing accurate and good quality information where extra works are identified -Escalating any major site issues or incidents via the appropriate channel and within acceptable timeframes

What You Bring

-City & Guilds 2360 / 2330 Parts 1, 2, & 3, JIB approved electrician, or NVQ Level 3 equivalent -Asbestos Awareness -Part P Electrical certificate -Sound understanding and experience of meeting Health & Safety obligations regarding maintenance activities -Working knowledge of Building Regulations -Working knowledge of BS7671, 18th Edition Electrical Installation Regulations & associated legislative standards -Full UK driving licence -Multi Skilled/ Trade is desirable -IPAF & PASMA -City & Guilds 2391 Electrical Inspection and Testing
