What You Bring

Experience as a Site Engineer or Project Engineer on a civil infrastructure project Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex issues and develop practical solutions. Proven ability to identify and mitigate project risks and ensure compliance with contractual obligations Proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with contractors, regulators, and internal teams. Having experience across the construction of roads, drainage, civil, earthworks etc. would be ideal. Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Project. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proven influencing and negotiation abilities. A relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field. Our client is a prominent player in the delivery of major infrastructure projects with a strong pipeline of work across NSW. They are now looking for a Project Engineer to join their team either based in Mudgee or DIDO (Drive in / Drive out) from Sydney, Newcastle, Wollongong or other locations. Ideally experience in construction of roads, drainage, earthworks and civils works. High level of attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with documentation, reporting, and contract management. Strong understanding of construction standards, policies, and codes of practice You will ideally have experience working on civil infrastructure projects with either a head contractor background or client-side project management background. You’ll need to have a proven track record in coordinating civil projects, managing multiple priorities, and delivering results in line with project standards and expectations. Must have a driving license Minimum of 3 to 5+ years’ experience.
