Overview

Oversee construction and safety of large-scale civil infrastructure for data center parks.

Tasks

-Conduct weekly safety audits for active construction projects. -Lead emergency and incident response teams in event of safety incidents. -Coordinate with local cultural, environmental, and wildlife resources groups and vendors that require access to sites. -Prepare technical reports and presentations summarizing project plans, status updates, and recommendations. -Develop comprehensive project plans and report against project scope, schedule, budget, change management, and progress for all development projects. -Work with contractors to develop and implement appropriate safety and quality plans in accordance with local regulations and industry best practices. -Establish site security, safety, and logistics plans for the lifecycle of development. -Effectively communicate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams. -Maintain a daily presence on sites as Tract’s primary point of contact for development activities. -Perform constructability reviews for infrastructure projects during the preconstruction phase. -Manage construction projects including demolition, grading, roadways, stormwater management, wet and dry utilities, electrical infrastructure and other related aspects. -Coordinate with Authorities Having Jurisdiction to identify and obtain necessary permits. Manage contract scope, schedule, and budget of contractors to ensure permit approvals

What You Bring

-Enthusiastic problem solver who enjoys widely varied challenges -Strong field management skills, including safety oversight, sequencing, and logistics -Strong written communication skills including internal reports / memos and verbal communication skills including presentations to senior leaders and board members -Self-starter who can take the lead on complex projects, work under pressure, deal with multiple deadlines, and work with minimal supervision -OSHA 30 required; CPR/First Aid preferred; MSHA Certifications -Proficient working knowledge of P6, MS Suite, Bluebeam, Autodesk, and other construction management software -15+ years of civil/site construction experience, inclusive of heavy hauling, blasting, rock crushing, bridge and road installation, pipeline installation, and telecommunications pathway and vault installation. -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or an equivalent engineering science OR 10+ years of related construction management experience in lieu of a degree. -Proficient in reading plans and field-level schedule coordination -Responsible, ethical, and collaborative mindset with a can-do attitude, pride in work product, and appreciation of the value of communicating, brainstorming and sharing information -Detail oriented to support data-driven analysis and decision-making -Deep knowledge of grading, utilities, paving, and stormwater infrastructure
