The Role

Overview

Perform wet chemistry testing of raw materials using USP methods in a GMP laboratory.

Tasks

-Work with lab instruments like refractometers, densitometers, pH meters, auto-titrators, UV-Vis spectrophotometers, and FTIR. -Carry out other tests and assays such as Karl Fischer, acid value, saponification value, iodine value, hydroxyl value, peroxide value, and oil-related assays. -Perform limit tests for things like chlorides, sulfates, heavy metals, elemental impurities, and aluminum. -Perform physical tests like viscosity, melting point, congealing temperature, and mid-IR and UV-Vis analysis. -Run identification tests like Thin Layer Chromatography and spectroscopic tests.

What You Bring

-1-3 years of experience in a GMP/regulated laboratory setting. -Familiarity with raw material testing. -Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry.
