The Role
Overview
Maintain and repair rural grounds and infrastructure for the Defence Training Estate.

Tasks
-Adhere to Safe working Practise and have a good understanding of Health and Safety Protocols. -Minor artisan repairs on Estate Assets including Buildings, Ranges and Obstacle courses. -Carry out preventative, planned and reactive maintenance tasks -Operation and maintenance of plant and equipment (training provided) -To ensure that the Defence Training Estate is kept in top condition -Complete all necessary documentation using both IT and paper-based systems -Ensure that the facilities adhere to strict safety protocols -Repair of Rural Infrastructure such as fences -Driving and operating fleet vehicles -Managing Invasive Species vegetation

What You Bring
-Knowledge of using a Chainsaw, Strimmer and Mower -Invasive species control - Desirable -Ability to work effectively in a diverse, fast-paced team environment -Previous Grounds Experience -Demonstrate Rural/Arborical skills and Experience -A valid Manual UK driving licence is essential to carry out the duties of this role -Good knowledge of Health & Safety protocols -Willingness to undertake training to support the role. -Basic IT skills with ability to use a tablet
