Perform structural and civil engineering design, analysis, and assessments for power substations.

Tasks

-Work independently on projects or with teams on larger projects. -Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard engineering codes, techniques, and procedures. -Interface with internal and external clients. -Analyze available project information, formulate work processes and execute work within schedules and budgets.

What You Bring

-A minimum of 3 years experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector -Computer knowledge of structural analysis programs (STRUDL, RISA, REVIT Structural, RAM Structural System; Enercalc, LPILE, MFAD)) and Microsoft Office is a plus. -Computer skills in Microsoft Office as well as standard Power Market Sector design software. (examples include PLS CAD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AutoPipe, and Revit) -Participate and lead civil structures condition assessments and demonstrated report writing ability. -Previous experience with an engineering consulting firm -Professional Engineer (PE) license -Self-starter with demonstrated ability to perform structural and civil engineering calculations with minimal supervision. -Bachelor's degree in Engineering -Previous experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector. -Masters degree in Engineering -A mix of project management as related to technical work assignments, field work and some overnight travel will be required.
