Tasks

-Performing bridge inspections with professional engineers up to 15% of the time. -Preparation of construction documents based upon field surveys, available resources and client requirements. -Preparing bridge construction drawings using Microstation and AutoCAD, calculate bridge rebars and bridge quantity.

What You Bring

-Have a working knowledge of codes, standards, and building construction methods. -Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects at once. -Ability to work within a team environment working with individuals from various offices and in various disciplines through all phases of design. -Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal assistance. -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. -Technical problem solving. -Valid Driver’s License is required. -Experience in reading and fully understanding bridge construction drawings in the fast-paced multi-site industry. -Kentucky Bridge design experience required. -KY PE required, ability to obtain OH PE within 6 months a plus. -Experience in supporting engineers in plan preparation for project work. -Proficiency in Microstation and AutoCAD. -5+ years of design experience.
