Tasks
As a Team Lead, you will plan, design, and direct engineering projects, including residential and commercial developments, drainage systems, and more. You will be responsible for leading up to 10 employees, ensuring the timely completion of projects while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance with regulations. -Calculate project feasibility and prepare detailed cost estimates. -Utilize engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.) to create designs and documents. -Collaborate with government officials to obtain necessary permits and approvals. -Track project progress and ensure compliance with company policies and client requirements. -Stay up-to-date with industry changes and new technologies. -Prepare and modify reports, specifications, construction schedules, and environmental studies. -For Project Managers, ensure adherence to the company’s Project Management Plan. -Supervise project teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors. -Analyze reports, maps, drawings, and other technical data to plan and design projects. -Coordinate with clients to receive input, address changes, and resolve issues.

Our client—a 100% employee-owned planning, design, and surveying firm with a strong commitment to improving communities—is seeking a bright and talented Land Development Team Lead in their Fayetteville, Arkansas office. -Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel. -Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Hydro Flow, and other engineering software. -Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (BS) from an accredited university. -Minimum 8 years of related experience. -Potential to supervise engineers and technicians supporting assigned projects. -Strong verbal and written communication skills. -Licensed Professional Engineer in Arkansas.
