Tasks

Reporting to the Controller, the Assistant Controller ensures the proper management of accounting practices, conducts financial follow-ups, ensures the reliability of the company’s financial information, and makes sure that adequate financial controls are in place. -Supervise a team of 5 employees; -Coordinate and respond to head office requests; -Monitor tax audits; -Prepare monthly reports and analyses; -Supervise activities related to accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reception; -Maintain and improve internal control procedures; -Verify payments; -Prepare the company’s monthly and quarterly financial statements according to established timelines; -Coordinate and prepare the company’s annual budgets and forecasts;

What You Bring

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software within an ERP context; -Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment (an asset); -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent; -Strong interpersonal skills; -Excellent sense of priorities and respect for deadlines; -Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position; -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; -Excellent teamwork and communication skills at all organizational levels; -Bilingualism (English and French) to ensure effective communication with partners and colleagues located outside Quebec.
