Tasks

-Complies with attendance and call off policy.* -Responsible for objects, situations that could cause harm, falls to residents, families visitors, and associates.* -Observes and reports safety hazards immediately to supervisor.* -Responsible for willingly taking on special projects or assignments outside of regular duties. -Responsible to initiate and participate in leisure activities provided to residents as described in the activity calendar.* -Observes and reports to supervisor daily.* -Responsible for being essential personnel during emergencies and or inclement weather.* -Maintains a safe and secure working environment free.* -Responds promptly and courteously to resident's request for assistance including phone calls and requests from family members and visitors.* -Provides assistance to residents with all activities of daily living including dressing, grooming, peri-care, toileting, and hygiene.* -Ensures residents and or responsible parties sign residents out when they leave the community.* -Assists with training of new employees.* -Serves and assist residents in the dining room at breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.* -Performs daily general housekeeping duties following established cleaning schedules.* -Assists in mentoring new employees.* -Ensures and supports a dignified caring atmosphere for residents, families, visitors, and associates.* -Always maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment for all residents.* -Provides assistance to associates when requested or required.* -Participates in trainings, in-service, and mandatory meetings.* -Provides a variety of housekeeping and or laundry duties in maintaining the community in an orderly, clean, and sanitary condition. -Refrains from discussing resident care issues with families, visitors, and refers all inquiries to immediate supervisor.*
