The Role
Overview
Welds and assembles metal components, follows blueprints, maintains equipment, ensures safety.

Tasks
-Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts. -Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures. -Assess welded surfaces and components to identify errors. -Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure timelines are met. -Use specialized machinery for welding and oversee machines that perform the same job. -Assist in the stocktaking of welding supplies. -Weld small and large components such as steel. -Maintain and repair all machinery. -Ensure compliance with safety protocols.

What You Bring
-Must be able to perform simple grasping, push, pull, perform fine manipulation, and feel for 6+ hours per shift -Knowledgeable in TFI/OSHA Safety Requirements -Forklift Certification -Proven experience as a welder -Attention to detail -Professional Certification/Welding Certificate -Must be able to work in hot, humid, and cold manufacturing environments -Must be able to work in crowded spaces for 4+ hours per shift -Must be able to bend and crawl for 4+ hours per shift -Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for 6+ hours per shift -High level of accuracy and attention to detail -Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, 4+ hours per shift -Strong organizational skills & Mathematical skills -Experience using electrical or manual tools -Must be able to crouch, kneel, and stoop for 4+ hours per shift -Must be able to climb ladders for 4+ hours per shift -Must be able to operate foot pedals for 4+ hours per shift -HS Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited institution -Must be able to make fine distinctions in sound, express, and exchange written or spoken words, and distinguish objects and equipment visually
