The Role

Overview

Test Technician ensures compressors run smoothly through setup, testing, and maintenance.

Tasks

-Perform compressor testing activities, including installation/removal, equipment setup, and executing tests according to formal Test Request Forms (TRFs). -Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment uptime and reliability. -Coordinate work with contractors, ensure safety compliance, and maintain a clean, safe, well-organized lab environment. -Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, supporting installations, upgrades, and modifications as needed. -Maintain accurate test logs and organize test data to support engineering analysis and project documentation.

What You Bring

-Experience in industrial maintenance (5+ years) with strong ability to troubleshoot and work hands-on with mechanical and electrical systems. -Flexibility to work the 2nd shift (2:30 PM–11:00 PM) and support alternative shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed. -A motivated, safety-minded team member with a willingness to learn—plus bonus points for copper pipe soldering skills, EPA608 certification, or refrigeration knowledge. -Comfort working independently and taking ownership of assigned equipment and tasks. -Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics, with fundamental computer knowledge (Windows/MS Office).
