This role combines new business development with account management, and will involve both phone-based and field sales activity, including attending client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.

  • Proactively develop new B2B client relationships through field and phone-based sales.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and report key sales metrics (revenue, performance, retention, etc.).
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver successful campaigns and event partnerships.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and key industry players to spot new opportunities.
  • Represent the company professionally at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
  • Identify growth opportunities and create tailored sales strategies for your client base.
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships focused on trust, retention, and account growth.

We’re seeking a confident and target-driven Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to manage and grow revenue across an exciting portfolio of Events, Digital Platforms, and Magazines.

Ideal for someone with a background in B2B or field sales, looking to expand into the media, events, and sponsorship space.

  • Natural relationship builder who thrives on creating and growing client partnerships.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
  • Proven success in B2B or field sales, ideally within media, advertising, or events.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the B2B sales cycle across digital, media, and event solutions.
  • Confident communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Organised and strategic, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience in events or sponsorship sales is preferred but not essential — enthusiasm and commercial drive are key.

Benefits

OTE: £75,000 - £80,000 (uncapped)

Basic Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
