Coordinate design and schedule with other disciplines such as architectural, structural, mechanical, technology, clerical and equipment suppliers;
Recognize potential project problems quickly and seek advice from the Project Manager;
Review all project documents for accuracy and completeness prior to requesting a final check;
Prepare and issue addendum information;
Review design methods, procedures, changes in scope, and client correspondence with the Project Manager;
Act as Lead Designer on projects and is able to perform complete electrical systems design (for a discipline) according to code;
Document design decisions, meetings, and instructions from client promptly while monitoring project design progress as related to fee expended;
Specify equipment based on project needs and available technologies; research resources for commercially available equipment;
Conduct periodic job site observations and all other services as required by the contract services agreement;
Maintain good client relations, project design notebook, and provide documentation for permanent record files;
Calculate costs and time schedules for proposed work; review all files to determine scope and personnel involved;

Knowledge and prediction of physical principles, laws, and their interrelationships, and applications to understanding fluid, material, and atmospheric dynamics;
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, and a minimum four years of qualifying experience.
A minimum of ten years of qualifying experience without a bachelor’s degree.
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans and drawings;
Skill in the use of Microsoft Office programs, CAD software and BIM;
Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups
