Tasks
-Check work of others for accuracy and completeness -Lead a team through all phases of architectural document production. -Interpret and apply building codes and requirements of other regulatory agencies. -Participate in bidding and negotiation phase and prepares addenda. -Participate in client project requirement meetings and value analysis and basic cost estimating. -Develop floor plans, wall sections, and details. -Responsible for small to large projects of high complexity. -Participate and collaborate in a project team setting through all phases of architectural document production. -Lead the construction administration phase with the design team, including but not limited to reviewing shop drawings and submittals, responds to RFIs, prepares site observation reports, and other contract administration tasks. -Interpret sketches, drawings, building program and other similar material. -The technical portion of the project including discipline coordination and providing technical direction to the design team. -Assist in the preparation and coordination of specs with construction documents. -Conduct space planning, block planning and adjacencies in coordination with building program. -Prepare and revise documentation in various architectural phases including site plans, floor plans, building elevations, building sections, details. -Conduct quality assurance and quality control on own projects. -Participate in constructability review.

What You Bring
-Strong Revit skills, familiarity with clash coordination strategies a plus. -AutoCAD, Abobe Creative Suite, Grasshopper./Rhino, and/or Sketchup a plus -Strong understanding of all phases of architectural document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications. -Passion for and experience with Mission Critical and similar building types. -LEED Green Associate or LEED AP a plus -Strong knowledge of building construction systems means and methods, materials, and industry standards. -Hand sketch and communicate concepts and ideas to others effectively. -Communicate abstract ideas (verbal/written). -Requisite knowledge and application of accessibility codes, applicable building codes. Also, knowledge of building construction systems, means and methods, materials, and industry associated standards. -Bachelor’s degree in Architecture -Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record. -Requires understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and Revit -Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a broad range of phase experience. -Professional licensure required, California preferred.
