Overview

Troubleshoot, repair, and document NovAtel electronics at component level.

Tasks

-Generate customer-facing repair reports. -Perform RMA Coordinator duties when required (as backup). -Develop and maintain repair manuals. -Ensure outstanding quality of repairs. -Interact with customers when required. -Assist various internal teams with multiple rework requests. -Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives. -Support and participate in failure analysis activities. -Perform repairs to the individual component level. -Troubleshoot NovAtel products to identify the cause of failures.

What You Bring

-Deep understanding of electronics schematics and assembly drawings. -Accurate data entry in the NovAtel repair database. -Ability to work with hand tools and perform disassembly and assembly of products. -Electronics Technologist Diploma or equivalent. -Experience using various test equipment (Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, multi-meters, etc.). -Knowledge of GNSS technology. -Experience working in a LEAN manufacturing environment. -Strong soldering skills (formal certification preferred). -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment. -Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. -3+ years’ direct hands-on experience with Digital & RF circuits troubleshooting to the component level. -Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
