Tasks

-Conduct Demo with customers. -Conduct a dynamic tools presentation and provide instruction to prospective tool users. -Cultivate relationships and build referral business. -Certification of Ames customers on the tools. -Grow rental revenues to desired company standards. -The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. -Establish and maintain effective working relationships at every level of the organization; invest in building relationships with the Field Operations and Field Support Center team members. -Assist with open house events. -Will deliver hard sales results to the store level by writing merchandise sales orders while conducting customer appointments. -Meet customers and assess their needs. -Assist with tool quality and development. -Conduct product demonstrations. -While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. -Assist with employee and training. -Conduct Training Events. -Help champion an inclusive working environment by:

What You Bring

-Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage. -Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing to coworkers and customers -Must have valid driver’s license and clean MVR with ability to be underwritten by company automobile insurance carrier. -Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. -Must be able to quickly communicate solutions if problems occur. -Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of sound judgement and initiative. -Must be able to problem solve and prioritize tasks. -Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred. -Must be able to manage stress depending on deadlines and ongoing projects. -Ability to sell features and benefits to end users and decision makers, -Must be at least 18 years of age. -The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. -High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and four plus years related experience. -Outstanding skills in customer service, suggestive selling skills, financial acumen, understanding of and ability to sell importance of service in the tool rental equation. -Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team; ability to lead, execute and/or delegate as needed, while also collaborating with others to get the job done. -Ability to sell features and benefits of sales merchandise product line. -Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. -Must be able to see to use the retail POS system, receive inventory, assist customers in locating product, read and reply to email and perform other duties requiring vision. -Must be able to multitask. -Must be able to receive and analyze information. -Ability to conduct tool training sessions on job sites, -The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. -Must be able to hear and speak to customers, vendors, support team at S3C and others. -Ability to self-manage, show initiative, be proactive, and drive results. -Forklift Certification is required in some stores and may be obtained post hire. -Travel is required. -Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
