Overview

Lead nuclear construction crews, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost control.

Tasks

-Ensure crews have all tools, materials and information necessary to perform the work. -Develop operational workplans -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Review and ensure safety and LOTO protective measures are in place. -Manage the safety, quality and productivity of craft employees. -Understand project quality requirement and ensure proper hold points and quality checks are performed. -Develop and implement a plan for project completion and turnover -Participate in daily schedule and coordination meetings. Be able to create and status daily and weekly schedules. -Maintain daily diary for record keeping purposes -Perform morning toolbox talks with crews, outlining tasks and communicating important safety and quality messages. -Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Mentor and help to grow Jr. Superintendents -Communicate with and manage (when necessary) various subcontractors.

What You Bring

-Ability to identify and resolve any problems that may arise. -Excellent organizational, administrative, communication and interpersonal skills. -Strong experience in Leadership, safety, negotiations, planning, and contract administration. -8+ years' construction experience with 3+ years being in a Superintendent/Leadership capacity -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. -Regular, reliable attendance -Must be a self-starter, highly motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision. -Ability to quickly learn and understand various processes regarding Kiewit’s policies, procedures
