Retail Expansion Specialist

The Retail Expansion Specialist will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing new retail expansion opportunities for Ankur Lighting. The role involves market research, site selection, project management, and ensuring successful store launches to maximize brand visibility and revenue growth.

• Ensure all new stores align with Ankur Lighting’s brand guidelines, visual merchandising standards, and customer experience expectations.
• Conduct in-depth research on potential retail locations, competitor presence, and local market trends.
• Maintain strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders to facilitate expansion projects.
• Identify and shortlist potential locations for new showrooms or retail outlets.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Design) to plan and execute store openings.
• Liaise with real estate agents, vendors, contractors, and government authorities as required.
• Track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure smooth store launch.
• Provide regular reports to senior management on expansion progress and challenges.
• Monitor the performance of newly opened stores to assess ROI and suggest improvements.
• Negotiate lease agreements and other commercial terms with property owners.
• Analyze demographic and commercial data to identify high-potential areas for store expansion.

• 5 years of experience in retail expansion, real estate, or business development (lighting/retail industry preferred).
• MBA degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or related field.
• Ability to work independently and travel frequently for site visits.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
