Inside Counter Sales Associate

Overview

Assist customers with quotes, orders, and support while coordinating sales and warehouse tasks.

Tasks

-You will coordinate with outside sales, operations, purchasing, and other departments to process orders. -You will support operations by pulling orders and packing them as needed. -You will communicate with customers via phone and email, responding to the needs of customers quickly and accurately. -You will work directly with customers to ensure they order the right products and that the orders are ready on time. -You will fill in where needed through cross-training in areas such as the warehouse, assisting with pulling orders and activities such as cycle counting, operating a forklift, etc. -Working face to face with customers you will provide a consultative approach to customer service, suggesting additional and alternative products, add-ons, and other support.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of customer service and order processing systems. -A minimum of 2-3 years of successful inside sales experience. -Prior warehousing experience, including operating a forklift. -At minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent. A college degree is preferred but not required. -Knowledge of the construction industry and products a plus.
