What You Bring
-Proven experience in coaching and mentoring others to grow and succeed -Experience in a leadership role managing a sales team preferred -Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Yardi would be an asset -Goal-setting expertise to establish clear weekly and monthly objectives for the team -A demonstrated a high degree of integrity, diplomacy, discretion and confidentiality -A results-driven mindset with the ability to consistently meet weekly and monthly sales and vacancy targets -Flexibility to perform all core Leasing Consultant duties while effectively supervising one or more team members -1-3 years proven history of success in a sales environment -The ability to gather and share demographic insights and customer feedback to support targeted advertising campaigns -Analytical skills to conduct quarterly market surveys, interpret data, and provide pricing and market insights to senior management -Strategic thinking to contribute to the development and execution of leasing strategies across your portfolio -Market awareness to perform mystery shop visits and stay informed about competitor offerings -Strong leadership skills to ensure leasing consultants adhere to company standards and deliver exceptional service -Ability to work and act independently using good judgment when assessing difficult situations -Ownership Mindset -Superior organizational and time management skills in order to multi-task/prioritize and work under tight timelines and meet multiple deadlines -Degree/diploma and/or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience focused in sales -Excellent communication is required. Ability to speak other languages is considered an asset -Ability to accurately listen, understand and respond appropriately -Creativity and initiative to coordinate open-house programs and implement impactful marketing initiatives -Superior attention to detail and accuracy, and excellent follow-up skills -Ability to speak other languages is considered an asset. -Flexible and adaptable to constantly changing needs within the organization -A professional demeanor with strong communication skills -Excellent problem-solving capabilities
