Tasks

Move Forward with Kleinfelder -Devise new approaches to problems encountered. -Collaborate on a program of design and construction management projects striving for continuous improvement in process development and execution. -Communicate effectively with internal and external teams of clients and stakeholders. -Build relationships with technical and client service teams and within client organizations. -Leading, growing and mentoring staff – supporting the achievement of professional career goals. -Nurture and grow client relationships and contracts that include complex, multi-disciplinary utility and pipeline projects. -Oversee pursuits, designate the appropriate resources to projects, define client needs, address client concerns and manage engineering resources within budget. -Lead and participate in technical, cost, and scheduling decisions for interdisciplinary teams ensuring company quality standards and driving customer value. -Manage all phases of project execution including project organization, project delivery, subcontractor management, scheduling, financial management, health and safety stewardship, and reporting.

What You Bring

Kleinfelder is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join our growing Mid-Atlantic engineering team. With expanding opportunities in the region in the utilities market, the ideal candidate will join our high achieving, fast-paced team. The project work will be multi-disciplinary in nature, but experience with land development is required. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to provide timely solutions and responsiveness to our clients are valued attributes for this position. This position offers the opportunity for hybrid work. Travel within Maryland/DC for site visits and various project meetings will be required. -B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution or acceptable equivalent. -Demonstrated project related experience and knowledge of applicable federal, state (Maryland), and local laws and regulations required. -Professional Engineering license or ability to obtain PE within 6 months. -Experience with County land development regulations/regulators is preferred. -12+ years of related experience, including 5+ years of project management. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Experience with civil design for transmission and distribution projects preferred. -Supervisory experience in training, developing, and mentoring junior engineers. -Proven track record of developing relationships with clients and growing programs. -Bachelor of Engineering required; Civil or Environmental Engineering degree preferred.

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Equal Pay Act. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary range: $116,000.00 - $197,000.00.
