Senior Construction Site Representative/Contract Administrator

Manage on-site construction representation, contracts, QA, and client liaison for BC projects

Tasks

-Assist with the preparation of tender procurement documents -Management of responses to Contractor RFI’s and clarification requests -Management of Quality Assurance and measurements for and the preparation of payment certificates -Complying and working within COR certified environment and performing all duties in accordance with those specified under the Occupational Health & Safety Act and applicable legislation. -Assist and support reginal business development initiatives including staffing, RFP/RFQ responses to meet projected department growth -Evaluate contractor performance to ensure project deliverables and quality standards are achieved -Provide constructability reviews and other miscellaneous design support -Maintain regular communication with clients regarding project status, site issues and project quality and resolve issues as required -Oversee change requests and claims

What You Bring

-Valid driver’s license required. This position requires use of personal vehicle in good working order to be used occasionally for business use, for which there is reimbursement. -Computer skills including word, excel, PDF/Bluebeam markups and windows applications. -Experience on transportation projects, with specific experience in roadway improvements. -Familiarity with road construction materials, methods, and process. -7+ years in Contract Administration and Site Inspection. -Experience supervising other staff members -Undergraduate degree or diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution considered an asset. -Willingness to travel throughout the province.
