Tasks

-Provide first-line supervisor oversight to daily operations, including direct reports on the shift/crew. -Lead role in training and developing of assigned employees in the skills needed to achieve key performance metrics. -Achieve high levels of efficiency in the use of equipment, machinery, raw materials and labor. -Incorporate Safety into all aspects of the operation and ensure that safe working conditions, actions and practices exist and are followed at all times.

-Self-starter, excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively. -Ability to develop relationships in a diverse workforce environment by prioritizing coaching and engagement. -Prior experience as a supervisor in a full-time or relief role is preferred but not required. -Adaptable to shift assignment and overtime requirements. -Proven technical aptitude necessary to provide guidance to employees in the performance of their duties. -Must be willing to uphold and enforce company policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner. -Able to build rapport with employees through effective communication and engagement efforts. -Demonstrated leadership potential including personal accountability, decision-making and problem-solving capability. -Must meet the requirements for a supervisor as established in the plant Operator rate Program.
