Tasks

-Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. -Drive continuous improvement initiatives for engineering processes and standards. -Engage with customers to optimize system performance and ensure satisfaction. -Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to meet deadlines. -Provide technical leadership and resolve design challenges during execution. -Design and configure automation and communication systems for power networks. -Develop engineering documentation and technical specifications for projects. -Support proposal development with technical input and cost recommendations.

What You Bring

-Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. -Proficiency with industry standards and vendor technologies. -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. -Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively. Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States. -Strong knowledge of IEC 61850, SCADA systems, and substation automation. -12–16 years of experience in automation and communication engineering.
