Tasks

-Manufacturing troubleshooting for assigned Value Stream and overall plant metrics -Continually improve product/process capabilities through implementation and promotion of automation & controls for Six Sigma Quality variation goal attainment -Scale up and support of New Product Developments or Modifications to Products/Processes -Provide technical leadership for Lean Sigma methodology, vision, and application. Coach and mentor associates throughout the organization on the application of Lean Sigma tools. Coordinate, assist and arrange resources necessary to ensure timely project completion and overall process improvement results. -Identify and implement process/product improvements, prioritize, lead teams to achieve business goal of cost reduction for improved performance. -Lead projects to ensure timely execution and sustain results through Operations buy-in and Lean Sigma tools implementation.

What You Bring

-Experience with process control and new product introduction technologies -Experience leading high performance work teams -Proven project management skills -5-7 years of manufacturing experience -BS degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Material Science, Master’s degree preferred -Strong record of Lean Sigma Tools implementation -Experience in process driven, continuous operations - wire and cable experience highly desirable -Demonstrated leadership skills
