Junior Mechanical Engineer in nuclear projects delivering design, analysis, and support.

Tasks

-Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance if required. -Developing skills in engineering-specific software. -Assist in the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations, and reports. -Communicate effectively with the Mechanical Engineering team and project stakeholders, including the customer. -Contribute to appropriate studies, analyses, and recommend actions; and -Deliver engineering services that meet Worley’s, its customers, and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget. -Perform Mechanical services under the supervision of a PEng, such as:

What You Bring

-Knowledge of the fundamental requirements of Mechanical Engineering and the basic requirements of other engineering fields. -May have Summer Student/ Internship experience in an engineering environment. -A recognized and relevant Engineering degree or equivalent that will lead to registration as a Professional Engineer with PEO. -Experience in the Nuclear industry will be considered an asset. -Technical and practical Mechanical Engineering skills. -Emerging skills in software such as MS Office Suite. -Ability to obtain a Canadian Nuclear Security Clearance.
