Tasks
-Provide opportunity analysis on an area of spending that will be used to properly assess the size of the prize before going to market for the RFP. -Author and circulate an RFI to gather early market intelligence, which will guide project planning and the creation of a comprehensive RFP -Learn and implement industry best practices and company standards. -Perform research and analysis to aid project objectives. -Execute market discovery that will be used to understand the landscape of potential vendors within space as well as understand the overall market in today’s environment -Work cross functionally within the JHBP procurement team on a project that will lead to a comprehensive RFP on a major area of spend within James Hardie -Work with team members on diverse projects and tasks. -Author and circulate a RFP (Request for proposal) which will be used to gather initial proposals on the company book of business -Create reports, presentations, and necessary documentation. -Engage in team meetings and share ideas.

What You Bring
-Demonstrated strong academic performance with a minimum GPA of 3.0. -Must have reliable transportation to and from the work location. -Full-time work experience -Confidently interact with others and have the ability cultivate positive relationships -Must be authorized to work in the US. -Strong communication skills effective communication is crucial -Must be enrolled in a bachelor's program in a relevant discipline at an accredited university, with an anticipated graduation date between December 2026 and May 2028 (rising junior or rising senior). -Proficient in sourcing, assessing, and systematically arranging data to ensure it can be easily reviewed and understood -Must be available to work full-time for 12 weeks during the summer of 2026.
