Tasks
A national renewable energy developer and operator is seeking a Sales-Focused Project Manager to lead business development and service delivery efforts within the solar field services sector. This individual will be responsible for growing client relationships, building proposals, managing contract negotiations, and ensuring successful project execution across multiple solar maintenance and remediation projects. -Serve as the primary client contact for new and existing service projects (DC remediation, wire management, QA/QC inspections, module washing, corrective work). -Identify and pursue new service opportunities, leveraging industry insights and client feedback. -Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards. -Build, maintain, and expand relationships with key customers and industry partners. -Collaborate with internal operations, field, and engineering teams to deliver projects efficiently and profitably. -Oversee financial performance and ensure alignment between customer expectations and project execution. -Lead proposal development, pricing, and contract negotiations for solar service projects.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate has a project management foundation within solar or construction but thrives in a sales-oriented, customer-facing environment — someone who can both manage technical scope and drive new business opportunities. -PMP certification or equivalent experience preferred. -3–5+ years of project management experience within solar, construction, or related field service environments. -Proficiency in MS Excel, Procore, Smartsheet, or similar project management software. -Strong understanding of solar service work, including DC remediation, QA/QC, and corrective maintenance. -Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills. -Skilled in proposal writing, contract management, and financial tracking. -Demonstrated experience in sales, client management, or business development within the renewable energy or construction industry.
