The Role

Overview

Create 2D/3D graphics for control projects using CAD tools.

Tasks

-Develop and exercise good communication skills. -Maintains awareness and adheres to all company safety and security policies and procedures. -Produces designs and documentation utilizing computer design and product life cycle management systems. -Receives generalized information and instruction pertaining to assignment from engineers or senior staff. Work direction, content and accuracy reviewed by engineers or senior department members. -Documentation of parts and bills of materials -May be required to travel to various locations to support products or train other personnel. -Maintains competency level of computer aided graphic system and other applications through company provided training and materials.

What You Bring

-Experience in SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, CAD, AutoCAD or ProEngineer -Work from oral engineering instructions or written procedures, schematics, drawings and sketches. -Associate’s Degree (AAS) in Drafting & Design Technology and at least 2-years of work experience using computer-aided graphic solutions is required. -Ability to lead small segments of large projects with responsibility for completion of assignments. Exercise sound judgment in recognition of potential design problems. Detects and corrects own errors. -Develop a good working knowledge and familiarity of design and drafting standard practices, methods and processes -Must be customer driven, innovative and quality minded in performance of all assigned duties.
