The Role

Overview

Assist in planning/managing high‑voltage transmission projects, traveling AZ, NM, TX.

Tasks

-Support the preparation of contracts and assist with negotiating revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with suppliers and subcontractors. -Manage & Report project costs against the forecasted budget and report findings to leadership. -Receive work authorization from customer and download IFC job packets -Complete change orders/update clients of any rescheduling/issues on the job -Execute corrective actions to address delays, adverse weather conditions, or emergencies. -Submit completed job packets to quality control specialists -Create job schedule with field ops and subcontractors -Communicate with field operations team for field review/preparation -Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients, representing the owner or developer. -Assist in preparing and updating project documentation, including submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs). -Assist with budget projections for labor, material, equipment, and subcontractors procured on the project. -Maintain electronic and printed files of working documents in accordance with outlined document control practices. -Support the PM in the development and management of the project Schedule of Values (SOV), update based on production, prepare billing packages, and submit to the customer. -Notify customers of clear dependencies, outage information, and schedule dates -Generate daily, weekly, and monthly projections and progress reports for all construction activities. -Communicate with supervisory personnel, subcontractors, or engineers to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems. -Develop project baseline schedule and update running schedule accordingly. -Responsible for the lifecycle of a project -Receive field coms back on what resources are required/needed

What You Bring

-Multi-tasking Ability: Must be able to handle various tasks simultaneously and prioritize work effectively. -Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills. -This role will be based out of Phoenix, but must be willing to travel to project locations throughout AZ, NM, and West TX as needed* -Technical Proficiency: Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite, particularly strong Microsoft Excel skills. -Completed job packets received, reviewed, and verified of proper completion
