Tasks

-Track and analyze job costs, budgets, and project profitability in collaboration with department managers. -Manage daily accounting operations, including AP/AR, general ledger, job cost accounting, bank reconciliations, and payroll coordination. -Lead and mentor a team of accounting staff; assign tasks, monitor performance, and support development. -Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures. -Ensure accurate and timely billing and revenue recognition for ongoing construction projects. -Assist with preparing quarterly and annual budgets and financial forecasts. -Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banks as needed. -Manage cash flow reporting and recommend strategies for financial optimization. -Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements. -Assist in special projects, ERP implementations, or system upgrades as needed.

What You Bring

-Day shift -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. -Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial regulations. -Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. -Strong interpersonal and communication skills. -CPA certification or MBA preferred. -5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in supervisory or managerial role. -Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel skills. -Excellent analytical, problem-solving abilities and organizational skills.
