-Drafting complex estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, GRATs, and charitable vehicles -Advising clients on wealth transfer strategies, tax planning, and business succession -Assisting with trust and estate administration, including probate proceedings and fiduciary accountings -Collaborating with family office professionals, financial advisors, and accountants -Conducting legal research related to NYS and federal estate and gift tax matters -Work closely with long-standing clients and generations of the same families

A well-established boutique law firm in Locust Valley is seeking a Trusts & Estates Associate with 4-8 years of experience to join its growing private client group. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in estate planning, trust and estate administration, and gift and estate tax matters, with a particular interest in working with high-net-worth individuals and multi-generational families. -Strong drafting, research, and communication skills -Experience with estate and gift tax returns (Form 706, 709) is a plus -LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning preferred but not required -J.D. from an accredited law school; admission to the New York Bar required -2-5 years of relevant trusts & estates experience, ideally with exposure to high-net-worth clientele
