Senior Project Manager

Overview

Manage day-to-day asphalt and paving projects, handling schedule, budget, and client coordination.

Tasks

-Observe, record and report daily activities -Sending over invoicing and progress payments to AP -Ensure that the project is completed safely, on schedule and within budget perform other duties as assigned. -Communicate with key stakeholders (sales, senior management, crews, subcontractors) -Coordinate schedules with subcontractors -Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions. -Provide leadership and guidance to project teams -The Project Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations for asphalt and paving construction projects -Employees regularly work near heavy equipment and moving machinery. -As a Project Manager, this position is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the construction projects and will be the primary client point of contact regarding the project from scheduling to completion -Making sure the team do Fleetio -Maintain a safe and clean work environment by establishing and enforcing procedures rules and regulations -Responsible for getting materials and equipment to site -Assists Superintendents with plans and specifications interpretation -The Project Manager will participate in the conceptual development of a project and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation so that a project can be completed on time and within a budget -Drives/travels to project/work locations to make on-site construction progress reviews, project meetings, scope conflict resolution and provide technical support to superintendents as needed -Inspecting and measuring completed work

What You Bring

We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting our construction operations. -Concrete, underground and grading experience -Must have a valid driver's license and pass company insurance DMV records search. -Experienced in budget management, schedule, quality control, and knowledge of all phases of construction -Commercial / municipal permits -Strong communication skills -Ability to work in our Plainville, MA location -Large heavy/highway project experience -OSHA certification is a plus. -Must display a sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, strong work ethic. -Must have excellent leadership experience, sense of urgency and a natural ability to work in a fast paced and growing environment
