Overview

Oversee investment ops, supervise accountants, ensure accurate accounting & reporting for alt assets

Tasks

-You will be responsible for reviewing the financial statements of Limited Partnerships/Joint Ventures -Coordinate and monitor all daily and monthly deliverables. -Supervising a small team of approximately 2-3 accountants and providing feedback and guidance. -Timely and accurate review of accounting entries and ledger reconciliation -Participate in various analysis and special projects. -Monitor data integrity. -External and Internal audit review and support.

What You Bring

-Strong Leadership skills -Ability to understand and analyze basic accounting principles and financial statements. -Understanding the STAT and GAAP accounting rules for the Other Invested Assets -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field. -High learning agility and ability to quickly adapt to new systems and technologies -Strong accounting, research, analytical and problem-solving skills. -Strong interpersonal, communication and partnering skills. -Detailed oriented with ability to organize and prioritize tasks and work in a deadline oriented and fast paced environment. -6+ years of experience in Accounting/Investment Operations with supervisory experience is required. -Strong familiarity with Prudential systems a plus (Oracle ledger, Investran, MRI, PAM) -Private Equity experience a plus -Proficient in Excel -Overtime required during peak periods. -Public accounting experience and/or CPA a plus
