Workplace Experience Facilitator - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

The Role

Overview

First point of contact managing reception, helpdesk, mailroom and site access.

Tasks

-Be responsible for mail management controls – Receipt, distribution, and processing, including franking and bagging external mail collections and processing courier requests. -Manage all site access and booking in/out protocols, including induction processes for visitors/contractors attending site. -Facilitate and resolve queries and issues between building users, contractors, and internal teams. -Act as the first point of contact for all building users, visitors, and contractors — in person, via email, and through our service user system – Samanage (SAM). -Answer incoming calls professionally, taking ownership of queries and providing accurate information. -Ensure all incidents/requests reported are logged and raised on SAM and dealt with in a professional and efficient manner, providing feedback and updates as required.

What You Bring

Location: Bradford, with travel required to different sites. Work Experience Facilitator - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract If successful for the role, you will be required to undergo pre-employment checks that will include a Basic Disclosure Check, carried out through a Third-Party Company, prior to commencing employment. Depending on the role, you may also be required to go through the security vetting process for either a Counter Terrorist Check or Security Check clearance. All our roles are subject to a medical questionnaire, and further medicals when required. Be the face of our workplace! If you’ve got experience in the Work Experience area and want to help us deliver great service for our customers whilst looking after the environment, then be sure to apply today to find out what a career with Yorkshire Water can offer you. -Able to work as part of a team and demonstrate team building skills. -Has flexible approach, able to cover a number of different roles within the wider Administration team, this includes holiday cover. -Great attention to detail and accuracy. -Able to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the role. -Previous experience of working in a customer facing environment, passionate about delivering an excellent service to customers. -You will require a driving licence for the role, as travel is required between different operational sites and out of hours one in 8 weeks will required. -Able to prioritise tasks and have good time and workload management skills. -Able to demonstrate a practical common-sense approach to problem solving. -Able to follow documented policy and procedures.
